How do I check in?
Self check-in with a lockbox, any time between 15:00 and 20:00 — so there’s no waiting around for a key handover. Full instructions come through Airbnb before you arrive. Checkout is by 10:00.
How many people can stay?
The Old Exchange sleeps a maximum of two guests in one king bedroom — it’s designed as a couples’ retreat.
Is there wifi and TV?
Yes — fast wifi throughout, plus a 42″ HDTV with cable and satellite channels, Netflix and Apple TV.
What’s in the kitchen?
A separate kitchen with a Belfast sink, oven and microwave, table-top hob, 4-litre air fryer, toaster and fridge — plus tea, coffee and the essentials to get you started.
What’s provided for our stay?
Quality bed linen, two towels per person, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, and cleaning supplies. Just bring yourselves.
Where exactly is the property?
In the village of Abercraf in Powys, on the A4067 between Swansea and Brecon. Airbnb shares the exact address once your booking is confirmed.
Can I really buy the art on the walls?
Yes! Local art is displayed throughout The Old Exchange and most of it is available to buy — a rather nice souvenir of your stay.
