Swansea Bay street markets
street food Marina — 2nd Sunday, 10am–3pm · Uplands — last Saturday, 9am–1pm About 30–35 minutes towards the coast
Two of South Wales’ liveliest street markets. The Marina Market at Dylan Thomas Square is brilliant for seafood and street food by the water; the Uplands Market at Gwydr Square packs in gourmet stalls, butchers, pies and hot food. Great if you fancy a coast day with lunch on the go.
Swansea Indoor Market
any day Monday–Saturday · 8am–5pm About 30–35 minutes towards the coast
Wales’ largest indoor market, and the answer to a midweek food shop. Famous for Gower cockles and laverbread, traditional Welsh butchers, fishmongers and artisan bakeries — the place to take a taste of the coast home to the kitchen.
Market days and times are set by the organisers and can change around bank holidays and
the winter months — please double-check the venue’s own page before travelling.
